Menage a trois

Here's a bald man being kissed by his two younger brides. Its actually a civil union that occurred in the Netherlands earlier this year. The bald man had already been married to one of the women, but he met the other woman through an Internet chat site. The other woman split with her husband and the three of them now have a civil union. Both women are bisexual, the man is heterosexual.

Gay couples can marry in the Netherlands, but polygamous groups can't.They can get civil unions instead. Dutch authorities have refused to annull what they call polygamous marriage.

I wonder if this civil union would be recognised in NZ if the trio moved here to live. Probably not. Another thought, what if you had a civil union or a marriage with a co-joined twin - would the other one have to or be allowed to consent?
