Great paint job

Rodney Hide is very excited about his new car. Note the parliamentary crest painted on the car.(You saw that here first!) Perhaps it is taxpayer funded. No wonder he is excited. Free car - and he can fit his whole caucus in it as well.

UPDATE

Someone else picked up on this too and Rodney has explained that the car nor the paint job is taxpayer -funded and the crest was painted on " because it looks cool".

That begs the question: How do we know if anything is tax-payer funded if crests are used " because it looks cool". Did Peter Dunne use the crest on his newspaper advertisement opposing civil unions because it looked cool, or was it actually tax-payer -funded? Can I use it on my car, or on my blog too, if I think it looks cool?

The paint job will be parliamentary funded (in part perhaps). The car will not be.
