More on Benson Pope

Wouldn't it be great if Ministers - or any elected representatives - were honest. David Benson-Pope is scum in that resepect. He is arrogant and dishonest. The Herald has an editorial that is spot-on and G-Man has gone as far as to say that DBP has shown Contempt of Parliament for having lunch with John Cleese when he was paid to be a Minister answering questions in the House, and then bragging about it, saying it was much better than fronting up to MPs calling for his head on a block. He implied that the police who investigated his case were bozos.

David Benson Pope does not deserve to be a Minister, not becuse of what he did as a schoolteacher, but because of the contempt he has shown for the police and in Parliament while as a Minister.

Can we have some ministers who will stand up for honesty and integrity, or do they all get their legal advice and directions from the minster of "cover your arse", Michael Cullen?
