Winston Peters criticises Geldof
Our Minister of FA, Winston Peters, has said that Bob Geldof has his facts wrong about this.
Peters says our aid budget figure of 0.27 percent of GNI is well ahead of the international average. Really?
We are fourth to bottom and the average is 0.47 percent of GNI, so how can we be "well ahead" if we are so far behind?

Sometimes people say things without actually thinking people will look at the facts themselves. This is definitely the case when it comes to statistics.
Good for you that you don't buy into everything you hear in the media but think how many people will have heard what you did and instantly disregarded what Bob Geldof said as lies.
