sex workers want to smoke in brothels

Apparently, sex workers like to have a quick fag after doing the business. It's just that workplace laws won't allow it here. But in Australia, brothels are asking for an exemption to smoking bans in Australian work places so that sex work is not forced out into the street. Smoking will be banned in Aussie workplaces from July 2007.

I wonder if a request for exemption will be made here in New Zealand.

Why can't they go outside for a smoke, just like employees over here?
