exam woes

Nearly one out of every four students who sat a particular scholorship exam last year got a zero mark, while more than half got less than five percent. Now that's not just a hard exam, that is a stupid exam.

The three-hour calculus paper was so tough the head of mathematics at one of the country's top academic schools took more than five hours to complete it.

Let's hope he scored more than 18 percent, which ended up being the mark awarded for a scholarship.

If a HOD takes five hours to complete an exam, how can the average student complete it in three hours, let alone pass it.

What a joke.
