Labour MPs north of the Harbour Bridge

There are three Labour MPs north of the Harbour bridge.None represent any electorates, because National hold the electoral seats, and the Maori Party took a seat off Labour as well in the area.

Just one of the three, Ann Hartly stood for an electorate in the area, but she lost her seat to National's Jonathan Coleman. Unionists Maryan Street failed to win Taranaki/King Country whereas Darien Fenton was a list-only MP.

Now these three want to represent constituents as Government MP's. They have a website aimed at covering electorates that two of them didnt even want to represent in the first place.

The website is a a good idea, though. Lets see what they do for their adopted region, or whether they will merely voice support for nationwide Government policies that so happen to assist "Labour North".

I wonder if National will do one for the greater Wellington region. Guess how many electorate MPs they have in the region.
