Pania not on the reef anymore

There has been a lot of coverage on Napiers "Pania on the reef" statue theft. It will be interseting if it was found that Maori radicals flogged it after Ngati Kahungumu leader Topu Tareha's comments to Stuff
Tahera....member of the Maori advisory committees for both the Napier City and Hawke's Bay Regional councils, said he said he did not believe Maori radicals were behind the theft. "Maori don't tend to do that sort of thing, we have our own marae and carvings.

Lets hope the culprit is found and if it is a Maori radical I trust the media will re-interview Tareha for comment. We all know that certain Maori leaders said Donna and Wi Huata had done nothing wrong and didn't deserve their sentence for fraud. Of course, Maori radicals dont break the law do they, they only get caught, plead not guilty, and get sentenced.
