the Exclusive Brethren:liars and hypocrites?
I can stand nothing more than so-called Christians who do things in the name of God - but tell lies in the process. Like the Exclusive Brethren. Are these guys Christians or religious nutters?
It's not often I reproduce an entire post by Frogblog, but I`ll make an exception in this case.
The anti-Green leaflet distributed by the Exclusive Brethren businessmen is almost identical to an anonymous leaflet attacking Green Senate candidate Christine Milne, during her successful campaign last year in Tasmania. The two leaflets are reproduced below so you can see quite how similar they are.
Yet Greg Mason, one of the Exclusive Brethren businessman behind New Zealand’s anti-Green leaflets, said in today's Herald on Sunday - according to Frogblog - that his ‘Green Delusion’ pamphlet was created from scratch, without international inspiration. After comparing the pamphlets below, I’m sure you’ll agree that Mr Mason’s claim can only be described as absolute garbage.

What astounds me is that the EB are a bunch of people who don’t vote, but tell others how they want them to vote- and are happy to break one of the 10 commandments in the process. The manifestation of EB beliefs by the "secret seven" is astounding. If voting is a futile exercise, as Governments are raised up by God, then surely campaigning is also futile. The fact is that the EB do not trust God to do the job properly, so they are trying to give God a hand. But they are making a complete hash-up of it in the name of God.
The $500,000 spent on the campaign by the EB would have been much better spent on helping the poor. It could sponsor nearly 1300 children through World Vision for a whole year.

What's funny was the interview with them where they declared that the reason they don't vote is because god is the one who decides the government. Then the very next sentence said that was why they were ashamed of this one.
"...pamphlet was created from scratch".
It is possible that the NZ pamphlet was created before the Australian one, but released after because our election is after the Australian election.
Think of logical possibilites before labelling people's statements as "complete rubbish"!
Matthew.
Matthew I think you are incorrect. FIrstly, the NZ pamphlet refers to the Tasmania experiement with Labour/Green- which is how the NZ Green party found out about the Aussie pamphlet.
Secondly The sources on the pamphlet refer to July 2005 reports on the NZ Greens website - so the pamphlet could not have been created before July 2005. The Aussie campaign was last year.
So your possibility is not logical.
