Gaza evictions

I support the actions in the Gaza strip, but it is disappointing to see the way events are unfolding. It should have happened years ages ago. Israelis are leaving from land that was illegally taken from the Palestinians in the 1967 Arab-Israeli War. International law and United Nations resolutions had required Israel to withdraw from the occupied territories.

Israel's settler community sees the territory as part of the biblical land of Israel. The Palestinian side has insisted that its state should include all the Palestinian territory occupied by Israel in the war of 1967

But some of the people involved in the resistance to leave are not settlers, some have travelled just to assist in the protests.

The pullout of Israeli settlers is necessary to bridge the long lasting rift between Israel and Palestine, but lets see what Palestinans do next. Palestines neighbours haven't gone, just crossed the border. Will there be subsequent border wars?
