Tamihere's apology

Tamihere has apologised. Well he's said sorry. Sorry for upsetting people, but not sorry for what he said to upset them. And why should he be, he's told the truth.

I mean, he's stressed maan. So stressed that he can't go to work. Has to take stress leave to "reflect on what he's said". Or is it sick leave, reflection leave, or perhaps some sort of muse leave.

All Tamihere can do is apologise, run a press conference, meet Helen Clark and Mike Williams, and appear in the media, and whatever else he did that day. Stressed - yeah right. I woudn't get stress leave if I called my work mates queer or swarmy.

Just as well there are no Christians in Cabinet. Just imagine that there is- yeah I know it is hard - and imagine the response if Tamihere was to refer to that Christian Cabinet Minister as a fundamentalist bigot.

He'd be straight back in Cabinet after the election, no questions asked and no apology sought.

Oh no Dave the Christians are getting discriminated against again by the meany heathen Labour party, with none of their ilk around the cabinet table
Well Dave tell that to:
Jim Anderton
Marrion Hobbs
Paul Swain
Harry Dynhoven

Those are just a few names off the top of my head.

Oh, hold on, sorry when you said Christians you must have meant loony evangelical ones- well no then, sorry there’s non of them

From what I read in Investigate some of them are liars which means they won't be in heaven no matter who says they are Christians.

Loony evangelicals, well if they can't tell other people who Jesus is and what He means to them and the world.
I doubt the sincerity of their so called relationship with Him.

That is the key incredient for not only salvation but being a Christian.

Going to a building on a sunday and saying you're a Christian doesn't cut the mustard.

If they encourage people in ho0mosexuality Knowing they will go to hell (ie not to heaven) how does that fit with "loving people".
How does that fit with being a Christian.
