You think it was bad enough not being able to have a smoke in a pub? And if you do smoke in a pub, it’s the bar owner that gets fined. Just be glad you don’t live in Bhutan where smoking is illegal and comes with at fine equivalent of two months salary.

But there shouldn’t be too many fines - if you can't get it, you can't smoke it.
