Extending marriage

A Brazilian prosecutor is pushing to legalise gay marriage even though the Brazilian constitution states marriage is between a man and a woman. However, the prosecutor says "it does not make any restrictions against marriage between same-sex couples."

Hmmm, using that logic, it does not make any restrictions against marriage between three people, it does not make restrictions against marriage between people and animals. And to think in some places, marriages between blacks and whites were frowned on…

Brazil is the largest Roman Catholic state in the world. Catholics still call marriages between Catholics and non-Catholics as "mixed marriages". How will the Church define a gay Catholic marriage?

An annulment, probably.
