butting goats and butting skyscrapers
Osama Bin Laden acknowledged for the first time directly in a tape aired in the US on Friday that he ordered the Sept. 11 attacks and said he did so because of injustices against the Lebanese and Palestinians by Israel and the United States.
"We had agreed with the general emir Mohammed Atta, God bless his soul, to carry out all operations within 20 minutes before Bush and his administration noticed. It never occurred to us that the commander in chief of the American armed forces would leave 50,000 of his citizens in the two towers to face these horrors alone.
It appeared to him (Bush) that a little girl's talk about her goat and its butting was more important than the planes and their butting of the skyscrapers. That gave us three times the required time to carry out the operations, thank God
And how did Bin Laden know about the book Bush was discussing with a second grade class in Florida at the time of the attacks? Perhaps he got a copy of the review of "The Pet Goat" in the The Washington Post after one of its journalists scored a copy of the book.
"The goat ate things. He ate cans and he ate canes. He ate pans and he ate panes. He even ate capes and caps."
It turns out this household also contains a "dad" who is "mad."
Panes. Ah, yes indeed. Window-panes. Panes, planes, mad dads. Mad pilots in planes butting into panes of twin towers.
What an analogy. Aside from the butting.
