As Jonathan Milne has left the Sunday Star Times to go to the Sunday Herald as political editor this has left a vacancy - and it is JT's press secretary Helen Bain who has taken his place. Helen cut her teeth on the Wairarapa Times Age before being a political reporter for the Dominion (interestingly Milne left the same paper to do political editing for the SST).

So JT now has just one Helen to run his speeches by.
