sometimes anti-DPB campaigner Lindsay Mitchell gets it right, sometimes she gets it wrong. She maintains that if family benefits are increased in the budget, many of these families will stop working and go on the dole. What she should realise, but probably hasn't, is that some low income families don`t get family support, because they dont qualify as they dont have enough kids.
These are the families who need the support. An increase in family support payments wont give it to them, a change in the income threshold will.
