Young Labour's smacking poll

Apologies for so many posts on smacking but it seems to be what a lot of people are writing and talking about in the media and on blogs. Anyways... I've known for a few days that Young Labour has a smacking poll on its "new and improved" website that reflects public opinion that 80 percent do not think smacking should be banned.

Now that Family First has a media release highlighting the poll, I went along and tried to vote - but was told that I had already voted that day.

It's a pretty dumb poll. Allowing people to vote once a day makes for an extremely useless statistic.
I voted just then. There doesn't seem to be much point though...

The real polls that record your IP address are more like it.
