how John Key will help the underclass

Well, it was a great announcement. John Key finally had a policy to assist the underclass.
Yes, the underclass will be able to get a bigger rebate on all the money it gives to charitable organisations to the extent that there will be no cap. At present, if you give $1000 to charity, you can claim a $333 rebate. Now if you give $10,000 to charity, Nationals policy is that you can claim a third of that back as well.

How on earth does that assist the underclass. I don't think they could afford to give $500 to charity, let alone $10,000. This is a policy which will only assist the rich - like John Key, perhaps who gives a great deal of his salary to charitable organisations. He wants to be able to get more back from the tax department to give more back to charity and so on and so on.

But the underclass - it affects them as much as a 20 hours free childcare policy would affect childless pensioners.
