topless women

Just disregarding the moral aspects, in light of the police opinion that a parade of topless women is not indecent, if topless women were to stand on the side of the street and watch that parade, would they be arrested? Would they be considered to have behaved indecently?

If so, the police opinion is legally inconsistant - unless there are different laws for parades.

Now, back to morals. Perhaps readers can suggest another activity that would be considered immoral, but moral if it was confined to a "parade".

If you are a woman and are game to stand on the side of the road to watch the parade down Queen Street topless, please leave a note on the blog. It will be interesting to see if you get arrested.

So girls, get to it.

I think there should be scantily clad men there too, for those straight women and gay men who'd like their exposure (so to speak).

Anyway, I must reiterate- who's being harmed by the momentary appearance of female mammary glands
on parade in Auckland? Aren't public nudity laws archaic anyway?

And it also seems to have attracted large numbers of laddish shallow straight blokes out to watch the proceedings.

Methinks FamFirst have scored an own goal on this one...?
