Finally the media mentions Darnton v Clark

David Farrar asked earlier this week why the media has ignored the Darnton v Clark lawsuit, whichis the court case Libertarianz leader Bernard Darnton is taking against Helen Clark over money inappropriately spent on the pledge cards.

In the case of the Herald, political reporter Audrey Young told me this week she had not heard of the case. So I gave her some details and she has now mentioned the case. However she gave it just one sentence:
A related case has already been lodged in the High Court at Wellington by the leader of the Libertarianz political party, Bernard Darnton of Lower Hutt.

Note in the Herald story that Cullen is now the Labour voice for the pledge card lies. That's because when Helen Clark does something right, she is spokesperson. When she cocks up, Cullen steps in to do all the talking and weaseling.

Now, I wonder whether Audrey Young will ask Helen Clark why she has not filed a defence to the case. She may even be able to write a story on it if she put her mind to it.
