The Auckland City Council and Tamaki Community Board have received the resignation of board member David Maka today. The resignation is effective immediately.

Tamaki Community Board Chair Kate Sutton says “David has served his community well and his input on the community board will be missed”.

I'm sure it will. Particularly as he's now been convicted and is in prison for stealing money from the community.
