Bono is to edit British Newspaper The Independant.
The rock star and activist will take the editor's chair on Tuesday as part of the Product RED initiative he launched with American philanthropist Bobby Shriver to involve the corporate world in the battle against AIDS.The paper will be donating half its revenues to RED on Tuesday.

RED is a global brand in partnership with international companies who donate a percentage of all of their sales to the project to raise more money to fight AIDS in Africa.
