lazy sunday

It's been a lazy day today.About time, too.

Most of the Benson-Pope report will be out tomorrow and will say that most kids can't recall that Benson Pope did what he did, and despite the police having a prima facie case, these kids are to be believed more so than those that consider the did it. Gordon Copeland is on Radio Rhema tomorrow 8pm to talk about his Marriage Gender Clarification Bill and in three weeks Christmas will be over and everyone will be talking about the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe..

So today, I got up, had brekky, read the paper and took the family to the Thorndon Fair. Saw a few people we knew, bought a few things - mainly chips and the obligatory fudge - and then headed off to Cafe Villa for lunch at about 2pm. This cafe is one of the best suburban cafes in Wellington ( it's actually in Ngaio), so if you are in the area its great for food, coffee and magazines, and has free parking. It's kid friendly and usually full on a Sunday. All it needs to do is provide decent drum and bass and stay open later than 4pm.

Anyway it was back home to get the washing in and read the cover story of last months Rolling Stone magazine on Bono. Relaxing.

Life has changed so much after study and exams...
