Ar you a Methodist?

I find it quite strange that the Methodists are moaning that the Methodist Church could be headed by a lesbian.

If this woman heads the church next week there is one reason for this, and its nothing to do with a persons sexual orientation. It will be because nobody else put their name forward for the position.

So, Methodists, if you don’t want a lesbian to head your church, instead of holding "special prayer sessions for divine guidance", how about putting your name forward. Hey, it could be worse, imagine what would happen if the only person who put their name forward was a bisexual Wiccan.

You`d really need divine guidance then - in fact you'd probably be relieved to have a lesbian Methodist apply.
