latest poll percentages
National 43
Labour 37
NZ First 7
Green 6
UFNZ 3
Act 1
Maori 1
Progressives 1
However, on current polling the Maori party is likely to get four seats.
National/UF 46% 57 seats
What does this mean?
The most likely party to get into power is United Future
ACT wont be there
The parliamentary party who wants to be in power, but is least likely to be are the Greens
NZ First won't be in Government
The party most likely to have a conficence and supply is NZ First
The Greens won't get one.
The most irrelevant party in Parliament will be the Progressives
Don Brash could be NZ`s first unelected Prime Minister
Helen Clark is the most unethical leader in Parliament - with Winston a close second
The last two polls are a real turn around for the Green's fortune. The Greens won't be in Government and they wont have a confidence and supply agreement either, for two reasons:
NZ First wont offer confidence and supply if the Greens are in Government and United wont go in coalition with Labour if the Greens are there. United Future doesnt want NZ First in Parliament, or the Greens in Government.
But United Future will be in Government unless Winston Peters changes his mind.
