Don Brash in the Guardian
Don Brash is the subject of Saturday's Guardian editorial over his refusal toaggressively attack a woman" on TV. That woman being Helen Clark. This is the UK view of Don Brash:
"If we assume Mr Brash wasn't merely trying to distract the electorate from his poor performance with a sexist remark, losing the election will surely come as a relief to him. How could he, for example, argue forcefully with US secretary of state Condoleezza Rice? Or stare down Chinese vice-premier Wu Yi? Would he have to graciously give way to any demands made by Yulia Tymoshenko, Ukraine's prime minister?", writes the Guardian.
Hat tip Frogblog who failed to mention that the article inaccurately said that National is nine percent behind in the polls.
