I'm not the drug user

Id just like to advise visitors to my blog that I am not one of the former sports stars who are accused of using drugs.

I could be seen to be a sports star. I scored a goal in a friendly soccer game against another youth group many years ago and come in the top five in the Kapi Mana harriers when I was in intermediate school. I have bowled a hat trick in cricket and scored a hole in one in golf. Yes, I may be a multi-talented sports star, I was a good skateboarder too. I may have been caught breaking the speed limit on a skateboard when a teenager (it's true, actually, I was) but I'm not talented enough - or rich enough - to do drugs, despite being offered them on a number of occasions at social events. I have been on radio hundreds of times as an announcer and producer, and starred on TV a few times, especially during telethon. My photo is all over the Internet. I'd be as well known as David P Farrar, if I got out more.

Any accusations against me, or implicating me in the events will be strenuously denied. I have spoken to my lawyer who has checked with my father and some of my ex-girlfriends to be assured that I am not involved in this at all. I have never taken illegal drugs in my life, as far as I am aware.
