waaaaa...
I'm hearing a lot of noises along the lines of "waaaaa waaaaa" especially between the hours of 12 and 6am. Having a new baby in the house will certainly be that I`m up at odd hours. Perhaps, in the interim, this blog may end up being a little like Megan's blog was when she had her baby - well at least until I get more than 4 hours sleep every 24 hours and my son doesn’t wake up at 6am.

waa-waa is actually a profound psycho-social-environmental and even political comment
Of course, it is a primal way of expressing need, but it also acknowledges the hegemony of the parental structure in the child's life, the lack of availability of other means of expression, and so on. As I said, profound -- much more so than much of the comment in Question Time
