dodgy crime stats

Police have spoken out and accused the police of fiddling crime stats.This has been going on for some time. When my car was last broken into, the cops came around the next day and when I later followed up to see if anything had been done I was told the records said it was solved.

The records were fiddled to make the crime stats look good. Some of the stuff going on in the police farce at the moment - rapes, 111 calls for a taxi, crime stats, delayed responses, speed camera ticketing while peoples lives are in danger, telling people to walk to the police station to make a complaint, - is about as dodgy as NCEA and an independent inquiry in all police matters needs to be undertaken.
