police farce

This is one of many, many reasons why unpopular and incompetent Police Minister George Hawkins should be told to get a new job. If cops cant attend urgent things because they are too busy up the road nabbing speedsters to prop up
Government coffers with their "police tax", then we haven't got a police force. It’s a farce. Especially when the most likely way of attracting the attention of police is when you drive at 120kph on an empty stretch of road.

Perhaps someone should tell those lovely Labour manifesto writers that one item for the manifesto for the next election could be a police force - with the emphasis on police and safety, not force, revenue or buck-passing. And in addition, promise numbers in your manifesto, then deliver. Unlike last time.
