Alpha Consultant's ACC contract of nasal enemas and rehabilitative chanting, singing and screenings of "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest may well be limited thanks to political and media intervention.

Two of the three company directors for Alpha Consultants are Catherine Hodges and Maureen Bray. Hodges is the Waikato member of the Career Practitioner Association of New Zealand (CPANZ). CPANZ was formed with the aim of promoting professional standards of career practice. Maureen Bray is the CPANZ member for Northland. So it appears that Alpha Consultants are heavily involved within the CPANZ, despite their dodgy rehabilitation practices.

But a Wellington representative on CPANZ is one Tisha Wilson. She so happens to be the wife of ACC chief executive Garry Wilson.
